Oh Please

In the past 10 months I have been in ICU on a vent for days, had a dog bite to my foot get infected and had vertigo.  What could be worse?  Dying in ICU.  These last 10 months have been bittersweet.  My recovery from ICU was swifter than I thought (prayers helped the healer), my father died but it was a nice ending to a long and wonderful life and I bought a house in the Keys with my family.  I got to watch lots of soccer games and baseball. I got to have fun with my family.  Trader Joes came to Asheville and I learned to play Mahjong.  Mahjong beats the hell out of bridge for me.  I miss my Dad but I am hoping that he is designing a new pearly gate for someone up there and traveling with Mom.
